During last month's Europe Annual Conference in Grenoble, France, John Fernandes, President and CEO of AACSB International, and Linda Livingstone, Chair of the
AACSB Board of Directors, presented Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) with an engraved plaque to
commemorate the school’s contributions to global management education over the years.

The plaque, which was accepted by Thierry Grange, President of the GEM Strategic Board and Special Advisor to Europe for AACSB, memorializes GEM as the first host of an AACSB conference outside of North America. Since hosting the Strategic Alliances Conference in 2002, GEM has served as host for two additional AACSB conferences, including the World Class Practices in Management Education Conference in 2007 and the Europe Annual Conference held this year in October. AACSB International is grateful for the support that GEM has provided in hosting these conferences and for their continued contributions to global management education.
